I knew Julie was the perfect fit to help us plan our big day from the moment we began our first conversation. Julie is genuinely so kind, attentive and down to earth. My husband and I felt like we were prioritized and so very well taken care of right from the beginning of the planning process to the rehearsal day and most importantly, our wedding day. Even the day after when she delivered some items to us that were left at the wedding venue, she really goes over and above! Julie was always one step ahead of us with any aspect of the planning, always looking ahead and communicating with us throughout the whole process. She handled any changes effortlessly, shifting schedules, seating maps, transportation arrangements (you name it!) efficiently and professionally. Julie was always available for a call to set my mind at ease, she responded to emails quickly using clear communication to answer all of the questions that I had. She easily liaised with all of the vendors involved and literally orchestrated a day that was well beyond our expectations, it was magical. We did not have one worry or concern on our day, leaving us to fully enjoy and embrace our family and friends. I highly recommend Julie for your wedding and planning!

Month-of coordination with deep experience & skill, beautiful aesthetics & fun!

We hired Jewel Events for our month-of wedding coordination, and Julie and the team wildly exceeded all of our expectations. We initially picked Jewel Events based on their stellar references and lovely personalities. Julie brings a sense of happiness and joy to her work that was really special. You can tell she really loves weddings, and does this work for all the right reasons.

In the month before the big day — just as our wedding planning was starting to feel stressful — Julie took over and made everything better. She handled final vendor confirmations and helped finalize our timeline, among countless other helpful services.

The night before our wedding, she ran our rehearsal with consummate expertise. Julie managed to fit everything into a short time-window and made it feel fun and exciting for everyone. Then, she helped troubleshoot (and fixed!) a last-minute confusion between other vendors, while we were free to enjoy our Friday-night welcome drinks.

Finally, on the wedding day, Julie and her teammate, Isabel, made our space look absolutely beautiful, ran the day flawlessly, and helped all our guests have an amazing time. Their tear-down services let us have a phenomenal after-party without worrying about cleaning up.

“When we spoke with Julie about planning some wine tasting and site seeing for our weekend get-away we didn’t expect her to pull it all off as one adventure. We were whisked away on a boat that cruised the shoreline of the beautiful Okanagan Lake where we sipped on wine and enjoyed touring the stunning lakefront homes from the water, eventually ending up at the dock and boathouse owned by the winery we were exploring. From there it just got better! Julie arranged a private shuttle, lunch, wine tastings, charcuterie lunch and then back onto the boat for a fun filled afternoon of wake boarding, paddle boarding and other water sports. Later that evening we were booked into one of the Okanagan’s top restaurants for a romantic dinner.
