Welcome to Jewel Events!  Since moving from England to Canada in 2013, I have had the privilege of being involved in planning weddings and events with some of the Okanagan’s top event planners, vendors and venues.  At 19 I was given the opportunity to plan and coordinate my very first wedding leading to planning conferences and banquets while working in London hotels. I also have a passion in planning private parties and themed events.

My imagination is unlimited, so whatever your vision is for your big day, I want to know about it!  I absolutely love getting creative and experimenting with different styles so don’t be afraid to share what you are really thinking.  I am a hopeless romantic and want to tell YOUR love story!  Every wedding is special and unique and I will work to reflect the individual tastes and traditions of each couple, no matter how extravagant or simple.  My favourite moment of an event is the reveal – right before a couple walks down the isle or when a corporate client sees their event space just before the guests arrive.  I will always ensure all clients are involved throughout the entire planning process so there are no surprises.  Let’s talk over zoom, or meet in person.  The wine is on me!

Born and raised in the Okanagan, describes herself as “detail driven and design obsessed” making her a perfect choice for helping oversee the biggest day of your life.

Kyra will act as your own personal confidant, assist in coordinating your big day from the moment you say ‘yes’ to the time you leave the venue and head off on your honeymoon. The focus meaning all you need to do is tell her what you like and she’ll help work out how to make it happen.

Kyra will work hard to get to know you and the most important people involved in your wedding.  She wants nothing more than for you to feel at ease and fully supported.
